How and why we collect personal data
In the first instance, we collect basic personal data about a job seeker when either:
* You upload your CV to our website in response to an advertised job role
* You apply for one of our job roles as advertised on commonly used jobs boards in the uk and job advertisement spaces we use
* We contact you regarding a job role after you have made your CV available on one of the commonly used jobs boards in the uk
This basic personal data would be information that you have included on your CV, cover letter, personal statement or other similar document. It is usually your name, email address and telephone number and we need this in order to be able to contact you to discuss a vacancy.
By uploading your CV to our website or applying for one of our advertised job roles, it is understood that work seekers are actively seeking contact from us about roles they are interested in. Alongside this, as recruiters, we also actively search CVs using the jobs boards mentioned above and contact any job seeker who’s uploaded CV matches the search criteria we are looking for.
When contact is made between Renowned Resourcing and the job seeker regarding a job role and if after discussion, you would like to be considered for interview, we will then take additional per-sonal data from you, as outlined above, as part of Renowned Resourcing’s Registration process. This additional personal data is to ensure that you are suitable for the post and are legally entitled to work in the UK. By signing our registration documents, the job seeker is agreeing that Renowned Resourcing can use their personal data for the purposes outlined and also for us to keep their personal data securely for no more than 5 years (you can ask us to remove your data sooner if you wish). We feel that this is sufficient time for your personal data to be used for the purposes for which it was processed. After that time it will be destroyed lawfully.
If, after being contacted by Renowned Resourcing, you decide that you do not want to be consid-ered for the post, the post is not suitable for you or you are unsuccessful at interview, you will not be contacted again unless you apply for another job role that we have advertised or we find another more suitable role for you. In the case of the latter, we will have asked for your verbal consent to contact you again in the future.
Who else has access to your personal data that we have on record?
If you are put forward for an interview, we will only give a potential employer your name, and in the event of a telephone interview, your phone number. It is only after a job offer has been made and accepted by you, that we will give the employer your personal details. All of this is only with your consent. We will not share your personal data with anyone else.
